  • One button on remote really useful: auto tune- adjusts everything
  • photo text button - font is slightly better

  • primarily developed for use with white boards (twain - promethean)
  • cotrol in menu is remote
  • file - import from device - where you go to pull images into computer from Lumens camera
  • paint tools are to annotate slides
Set up the hardware
  • Set Lumens directly to projector (not computer)
  • USE BUTTON TO SHUT DOWN so lens closes
  • VGA in from projector to Lumens via that short piece with serial on both ends (projector first)
  • USB 0 only connection to computer
  • Under wings dipswitch open and change to the other setting, not the default
  • IR in front - use remote from front of it
  • Remote more powerful than base
  • See II Software only needed to use software if you are using whiteboard or saving photographs of process
  • Menu button is redundant way of doing same thing
  • PBP - splits image between saved image and live image (high school CRS mentioned this was good if you had steps posted on image bit and showing part of the process on the other side)
  • Flipped picture does not center the same way
  • to get out of saved image - press play again
  • Menu Menu to live
  • Delete button to delete pictures you no longer want
  • Once pictures are moved from Lumens to computer, they cannot be moved back
  • zoom is 3X optical zoom, after which it gets pixalated. So use the gooseneck to get closer
  • Take pictures of kids' work for digital storytelling - makes jpgs
